They won thanks to their authenticity. The list of ingredients is really short; this is shown by taste and fragrancy of the product. We have also been awarded for handicraft production; you can notice this further aspect at first sight.Our Rusks have a compact mix and a dark surface: these two characteristics make you think it’s about a home-made product. You can feel how crisp they are.Their taste is a surprise: the golden-brown internal looks tasty and savoury.

Cradel Rural Rusks’ secret is the recipe we have been inspired by: that of biscôit. It was jealously kept among notes by family’s bakery, and we took the opportunity of proposing this product again when our friends of “Quintino Sella” hut requested it.
They needed a rural product to be presented at breakfast for their guests.
This is how the production of Rural rusks has begun. The success of our recipe has been unstoppable: a product which was almost exclusive turned into a mass success. By popular demand we had to increase the distribution and make our Rusks available for all our customers.
That’s just the start of this history of success. GAMBERO ROSSO was struck by the same elements noted by our watchful consumers, who are looking for natural, tasty and healthy products. For the realization of our Rural Rusks we only employ whole milk powder, superfine soft wheat flour, sunflower oil, sugar, salt, brewer’s yeast and aromas, and we don’t add food colouring, preservatives, hydrogenated fats, neither palm oil. Their preparation demands three days in all, as we manually roll out the dough of each rusk on the baking pan before toasting them.

Cradel Rural Rusks taste of toasted bread, are big and thick to withstand the bit. The compact mix is a great sign of their crunchy. Whether you dip and garnish them or not, they don’t crumble when you bit them, on the contrary they keep their crisp and friable consistency for winking your taste. Cradel rusks are sweet, but not too much though: we tried to find and reached the right proportion of I the intensity of rural flavour and the delicacy of baked goods for breakfast.
