The soft mix of shortcrust pastry is realised by partially replacing wheat flour by rice flour and allows us to realise Shortbread with a sweet and delicate taste, ideal to be eaten as sweet dessert. That’s exactly how Cradel Rice Shortbread were created: in simplicity. The balance of flour mix is what makes the difference; the crispness and the fragrance of the cookie rely on this balance. Cradel Rice Shortbread are very light delicacies, excellent to be offered to your guest for delighting the end of the meal.

When you employ only few ingredients for realising cookies, without without intrusion of food colouring, preservatives, hydrogenated fats, neither palm oil, you have to select top-quality raw materials, if you want them to be good and tasty. The fewer ingredients you employ, the better you feel the taste of each of them, and you can recognize every single contribution to the final product.

For realising Cradel cookies we employ a recipe starting from that original, which demands the employment of few healthy ingredients; the only variation is the partial replacement of wheat flour by rice flour. We selected rice flour because of its valuable taste and its lightness. Rice flour is generally employed in the realisation of pastries, and if you skilfully measure out it, you can get outstanding results.

For our Rice Shortbread we only employ good butter and delicate flour coming from a trusted mill. By combining butter with delicate and sweet rice flour we can realise perfect Shortbread: fragrant, crumbly and light.

The only bagel-shape of Cradel Shortbread is not enough to arouse curiosity in them and tempt to taste them. The sweet and enveloping fragrance reminding of fresh-baked product, the lovely golden colour and the typical appearance of a home-made product help to make them mouth-watering at the sight. Cradel cookies are so appetizing because we still process manually in some stages of the production.

You can serve Cradel Rice Shortbread at the end of the meal: your guests will be astonished by this simple delicacy. Shortbread can be paired with a good fortified wine to enjoy the contrast of flavours. An other astonishing use of Cradel Rice Shortbread is to pair them with sweet cream, perhaps combined to fresh fruit, in order to serve a refined spoon dessert. In any way you serve Cradel Rice Shortbread, it will always be a big hit.
An other gluttony way of tasting Cradel Shortbread is to employ the mas bed for a good deal of chocolate spreadable cream. With such a snack your day will absolutely start in the best way.
