Corn flour is appreciated thanks to its rustic flavour and its versatility in using it, and now as then you can find it among ingredients of a lot of preparations.
Among the various recipes based on corn flour, there’s one which is a grat classic of our Piedmont: “Paste ed Melja” (Corn pastries in Piedmostese dialect).

We from Cradel, like, you, believe in tradition and we want to optimize it. For this reason we decide to start from the ancient recipe for the realization of Cradel “Paste di Meliga” (Corn pastries).
Also the choice of raw materials has been made from this perspective: we purchase flour by a sorted mill and then we add butter. Our ingredients list is very short: we don’t add food colouring, preservatives, hydrogenated fats, neither palm oil. Moreover, several stages of production are still manually performed, and in this way, we get traditional, natural and rural “Paste di Meliga” (Corn pastries).
You will notice right away the quality of our products: once opened tha package, you will find the aroma of fresh-baked cookies.
